Abstract

In this best practices presentation we will focus on our ongoing experiences using Facebook with both pre-service and in-service teachers at Michigan State University. We will talk about how we have leveraged Facebook Groups as a help desk/Q&A forum for pre-service teachers in a educational technology course as well as our experience using Facebook as a forum for discussion and debate with in-service teachers in our master’s program. We will examine what we have learned along the way and suggest strategies for getting the most out of your own Facebook integration.
